The Children’s Department collection has a wide variety of resources for babies to tweens. Among our collection are:

Many free programs are offered throughout the year for babies to tweens. A listing of current programs is on the Children’s Program page.
Tumble Book Library
Listen and Read-a-long in English, French, or Spanish to animated children’s picture books. Tumble Book Library also offers children’s educational puzzles and games. This free service is available through a computer and some electronic devices.
Reading Counts – list of all books included in the reading counts program for each participating school in our service area.
Youth Book Lists – This database is for children to find book series order, read what the series is about, see how other kids have rated a series, find books by the same author, see awards the books have been given, and see what reading level the series is.
ABCMouse – With 3,500+ interactive books, educational games, puzzles, and other learning activities, ABCmouse.com’s award-winning online curriculum is an invaluable resource for young learners (ages 2-6+). From Age of Learning, Inc. It can be used for free on a Charlestown-Clark County Public Library computer.
