The Children’s Department collection has a wide variety of resources for babies to tweens. Among our collection are:

Listen and Read-a-long in English, French, or Spanish to animated children’s picture books. Tumble Book Library also offers children’s educational puzzles and games. This free service is available through a computer and some electronic devices.

Reading Counts Search – list of all books included in the reading counts program for each participating school in our service area. Click on “browse book expert online” button to search by level number.

ABCMouse – With 3,500+ interactive books, educational games, puzzles, and other learning activities,’s award-winning online curriculum is an invaluable resource for young learners (ages 2-6+). From Age of Learning, Inc. It can be used for free on a Charlestown-Clark County Public Library computer.
