She will help you create your own barn quilt from plywood and paint. The workshop is $40 per person, to be paid in cash the day of the workshop. All materials will be provided. There is limited space for this program, registration required.

On August 21, 2017, a solar eclipse will cross America. To help people prepare for the eclipse the library will be having an Open House at each library branch.

Stop by one of our 5 open houses to learn about the eclipse and pick up a pair of the viewing glasses. Limit of 4 glasses per family. While supplies last. Viewing glasses provided by a grant from the Moore Foundation.

Book A Luncheon is a bookclub that is open to adults and meets on the first Thursday of each month at Charlestown Library from 12:15-1:00 pm. The book will be Tumbleweeds by Leila Meachum for the next meeting on August 3.

This is a program to discuss the art of cooking, share cooking tips, sample recipes, and browse new cookbooks. Participants can bring a sample of a recipe for that month’s topic to share with the group. Be sure to bring a copy of the recipe.
