Pre-school Storyhour Programs

Storyhour is for 3-5 year olds. During Storyhour kids will sing songs, read stories, and make a craft. Programs run from February 5 – March 16.

New Washington Library – Mondays from 1-2 pm
Sellersburg Library – Tuesdays from 10-11 am
Henryville Library – Tuesdays from 1-2 pm
Charlestown Library – Wednesdays from 10-11 am
Borden Library – Thursdays from 1-2 pm


tottimeSpring Tot-Time

Tot-time is for children 17 – 35 months. During Tot-Time kids will read books, sing songs, and make a craft. Program runs from February 5 – March 16.

Charlestown Library – Mondays from 10-10:30 am
Sellersburg Library – Thursdays from 11-11:30 am


bookbabiesSpring Book Babies

Come and play with other babies, sing songs, and read books. Book Babies is for babies 0 – 16 months. This program will be on Thursdays at Sellersburg Library from 10-10:30 am. Program will run from February 5 – March 16.

raySpring Break Show – Meet an Ocean Ray

This Spring Break, the Newport Aquarium will bring a ray for families to meet and learn about.

Charlestown Library – Wednesday, March 28 at 1-2 pm

pawsPAWS to Read

PreK- 5th graders can practice their reading with a certified therapy dog over Spring Break. Drop in and your child can read to Cooper, a dog who loves to listen. No registration required.

rubberbands4-H Mini-Trampoline Challenge

This Spring Break, Katie Whiteford from Clark County 4-H will teach K-5th graders how to build their own mini-trampolines. Then, they will test them out using ping pong balls.

Do you like the popular book/movie—Escape From Mr. Lemoncello’s Library? Do you want to try to break out of the library for real? Children ages 8+ can join a team to try to solve clues, figure out puzzles and escape from the library this Spring Break.

food2Fun with Healthy Food Storyhour

This fun and informative program, aimed at preschoolers and their parents, will teach kids about why eating all kinds of healthy foods is important. This program will be presented by Micki Byrd from the Clark Co. Extension Office.
